# POKEDON

## What is POKEDON?

POKEDON is a social impact trading card donation project based in Japan. Unused Pokémon cards and other trading cards are collected at partner shops or via mail, appraised, sold, and 85% of the sales profit is donated to verified charitable organizations. Full financial transparency: monthly reports with all figures are published.

## How It Works

1. Drop cards in a donation box at a partner shop (free), or mail them in (shipping at sender's cost)
2. Partner shops appraise and resell the cards
3. 85% of the sales profit is sent directly to the designated charity
4. 15% covers operating costs (logistics, systems, shop fees)
5. All figures published monthly in the public report

## Donation Rate

- Sales profit: 85% donated, 15% operating costs
- Card valuation guide: Normal cards ~¥5/each, Rare ~¥200/each, Super Rare (SR) ~¥2,000/each
- Use the Simulator at /simulator to estimate your cards' donation value

## Supported Card Types

Pokémon trading cards (all sets, all conditions), as well as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game, Duel Masters, and other trading card games.

- Animal welfare: 公益財団法人 どうぶつ基金
- Disaster relief: 公益財団法人 日本YMCA同盟
- Rare disease support: 一般社団法人 難病患者支援の会
